Hey, I'm Josh! I've been invested in art since a very young age. I was regularly getting called out by my teachers for drawing during class and turning in most tests with doodles littering the page. I always knew I needed to do something creative in order to be happy. I graduated from the design and photography course at MTC and worked as a toy designer for a while. I've always taken on commissions to satiate that creative hunger.
My apprenticeship came at the perfect time to pull me out of a funk. I've met some incredible people and have received guidance that will continue to shape me as an artist - and it's only the beginning. I'm stoked for the future as I feel like I'm finally doing what I was meant to do.
I love the bold characteristics of American traditional, anything black and gray illustrative, and the creative freedom of character design (especially 1920s rubberhose style)....and frogs.
